Two new community features on theisle-game.com, a dinosaur documentary made with The Isle and a video in which a Diabloceratops dismantles a group of 4 Ceratosaurs are presented in our first community news issue in German for our favorite game: The Isle.

Amazing documentary-style video: The Herd – a documentary featuring a professional narration, created using in-game footage from The Isle. Congratulations to SsikGaming for this creative approach!
New features and user registration
Now that we have relaunched the website and added an English section (work in progress), there are now 2 new features to make it easier for you to find fellow players.
Player search & LFG list
The Isle thrives on playing together with others. With the right players, the fun of the game increases many times over and it is also easier to survive. That's why we now offer the possibility to create a "search ad" under the menu item " Community -> Player search / LFG" to find other players for The Isle. We want to keep it simple and allow players to network quickly. That's why you can now register here and create a user account. During the registration process, you can indicate whether you want to publish your contact details (Steam invite code, Discord name) on this list. If you do so, any player can add you as a friend via Steam or contact you in Discord. Further information that you provide:
- a short introduction (Who am I, what am I looking for?)
- Country
- Headset - Yes / No
Important! - The contact details for Discord or Steam are only visible for registered/logged in users. I think that makes sense and is good. Do you disagree or do you have suggestions for improving this list? Are you missing information? Should it also be possible to specify 2-3 favorite dinosaurs? Feel free to write to us via our contact form.
This is what it will look like once you are registered and have completed your user profile:

Discord & server profiles for unofficial The Isle servers
Another important feature is our new Discord & Server list for The Isle. Here you can enter your unofficial Discord/Gameserver and present it on theisle-game.com. Once registered you even have your own Discord profile page which is optimized to be found in Google for matching search queries like The Isle [your server name] Discord. Want an example? Then search for "Jurassic Echos Discord" on Google and click on the first or second search result at the top ;-)
To register your Discord/gameserver, please use this online form and send us your server data & information.
After a short check we will then release your Discord profile. Oh yes, one more thing - every month we will then present one of the Discord/gameservers registered there in our community spotlight on the start page. This should attract some players to your Discord server and is free advertising for you!
Worth seeing The-Isle video in documentary style
Tutorial videos, fight videos or summaries of The Isle streams can now be found in large numbers on YouTube. Every now and then, however, you discover a real gem among the videos that are often created with a lot of love by The Isle fans.
This time we would like to present you a documentary with a really brilliant voiceover that you are otherwise only used to from elaborate BBC documentaries. Take a look, it's really fun to listen to the narrator:
You can find 2 more videos of this kind linked at the bottom of the article. We think it's great work!
If you want to get better, watch videos by MrGray
Some of you will already be familiar with the name. MrGray (currently 1080 subscribers) is an Isle player who has achieved fame and glory on YouTube thanks to his excellent Cerato gameplay. In his videos, he takes on several opponents seemingly effortlessly and usually emerges victorious. These are rarely just 1 on 1 encounters. On the contrary - he often takes on a Stegosaurus or Deinosuchus and wins. Or he takes apart 3 or 4 tenontosaurs at once. You don't believe it? Then take a look at the latest MrGray video - in which he shows us how to take on 4 Ceratosaurs with a Diabloceratops and teach them to fear:
Meanwhile, there are numerous videos of him playing other dinosaurs and showing how to gain respect and make a name for yourself in the PvP of The Isle.
That's it for February! If you have a creative project related to the PC game The Isle or have made or seen a great video, please write to us and let us know about it. With any luck, we'll feature it in our next Community Newsflash in March!
