  • This attack deals twice as much damage to the head, but only increases bleeding by 1% compared to a standard bite.

Body Buff

The Ceratosaurus gains automatic damage reduction when it is within 30 meters of a dinosaur carcass. The amount of the buff - none, 25% or 50% - is determined as follows:

  1. Is there a carcass within 30 meters?

    • No: No buff.
    • Yes: Continue to step 2.
  2. Does the carcass weigh 130 kg or more?

    • No: No buff.
    • Yes: Go to step 3.
  3. Is the carcass fully grown?

    • No
      • Player receives a 25% buff.
      • Chuffing (growling sound) is activated when another player is within 5 meters of the carcass.
    • Yes
      • Player receives a 50% buff.
      • Chuffing is also activated when another player is nearby.

Additional notes:

  • The buff depends on whether the size of the carcass matches or exceeds your growth size.
  • Buff levels: No buff, 25%, 50%.
  • Teammates: There is no chuffing when teammates are nearby.
  • Interrupts: The buff and chuffing can be deactivated by ducking or latching.

Basic information

A powerful carnivore, easily recognized by its distinctive nasal horns and amazingly robust digestive system, which allows it to feed on the most putrid carcasses without any negative side effects.
