Herrerasaurus

The Herrerasaurus is a small carnivore that can easily be killed by larger dinosaurs. Its preferred prey are the Dryosaurus and the Psittacosaurus. Due to its small size, sneaking up on prey is an easy task. Thanks to its high speed, it can easily take down small herbivores. It can also eat carrion from other carnivores, but this is very risky as larger dinosaurs can easily kill a Herrerasaurus. The Herrerasaurus swoops down on its prey from above, inflicting a lot of damage/blood damage.

Movement and abilities:

• Can climb almost any surface: Fences, mountains, trees, etc.
• Pounce damage scales with the weight of the target.
• Can dive underwater (now has night vision underwater).
• Will no longer be stunned if it successfully hits a target from above.
• Throat Skin (Dewlap): A fold of skin on the neck that expands and pulsates in color
  • Activation: Press F and hold right-click.
  • Only other Herrerasaurus can see this.
  • Yellow = Male | Green = Female
• Can breathe underwater for 25 seconds.
• Causes heavy bleed damage when it attacks.

Fight / Attack from above

• ALT + right-click | N/A
• Right-click | Drop Attack: Hold right-click and aim at your target. When you are ready, press the space bar to jump forward or off objects such as trees.
• ALT + left-click | Quick bite, quick turn.
• Left-click | Normal bite attack.

Climb

• Hold right-click to aim at an object (e.g. a tree) and use spacebar to jump.
• While holding onto the tree, you can climb up and down and even shimmy around the object.
• Herrerasaurus has a long jumping range, so it can jump back and forth between trees.
• It won't fall off branches even if you go in the wrong direction - it will automatically hold on and pull itself up in most cases, even if you don't aim perfectly.
• Hold Shift while climbing to sprint up faster.
