Troodon

• Jumping:

  • Jumping costs about 5% of your stamina.

• Health:

  • The Troodon has more HP than its weight.

• Pounce Attack:

  • Similar to Omniraptors: Hold right-click to attach to the target.

• Poisonous attacks:

  • Attack together with other Troodons.
  • Give the target 3 poisonous Pounce bites to put it into the Poisoned state (Envenomed)
    • Maximum dose of poison is applied.
    • The damage taken from further attacks is increased.

• Pounce during Envenomed level 3:

  • When the target reaches the 3rd level of the Envenomed state
    • The timer is extended slightly with each Pounce.
    • Attacks as a large group to deal maximum damage.

• Jump ability:

  • Can jump onto any side of a dinosaur, including the back.

Troodon Attacks and Mechanics

RIGHT CLICK | Poisonous Jump Attack

• 360° directional attack that consumes stamina.

• Sub-Adults can already inflict poison.

• After the Troodon Chirp can be popped again.

• Three levels of poison:

  • Each Pounce increases the poison level by 1.
  • After 3 bounces, the target reaches the Envenomed state
    • A louder chirp indicates that all stages have been completed.
    • Further Pounce attacks cause additional damage.
  • Poisoned prey gains a blue/green glow.
  • Envenomed only lasts for a short time.
  • Note: A Pounce before the 3rd stage resets the poison.

• Group attack:

  • Most effective when all Troodons attack as soon as the 3rd stage of the Envenomed state is reached.

• Target Tracking:

  • When the target is tracked, an aura appears around it.
  • No aura = target is not tracked.

LEFT CLICK | Bite Attack

ALT + LEFT CLICK | 360° directional bite with forward thrust

• Deals damage and allows a short leap forward during the attack.

This agile creature is not particularly dangerous on its own, but its venomous bite can be quite problematic for a large number of creatures if it acts in a coordinated group. Keep your wits about you. Believe half of what you see and none of what you hear. This creature has been known to mimic certain sounds.
